Walmart Philadelphia

For the second year, Walmart and Brent Celek, Tight End for the Philadelphia Eagles and founder of the Take Flight Foundation, partnered to host “Operation Elf”. This holiday outreach event provided more than $20,000 in food and necessities to financially in-need or at-risk families from the Philadelphia area. The deserving families received an autographed football from Celek, a Walmart gift card and a complete holiday meal, including turkey, stuffing and vegetables. Families also had the chance to shop for hats, gloves and coats as well as gifts to make their holiday season a little brighter.

The Take Flight Foundation was established in 2010 and provides opportunities, support and resources to
children and families in need. The primary focus of the Take Flight Foundation is to provide seriously ill and physically challenged children throughout Greater Philadelphia with daily support and life changing experiences. For more information, please visit www.brentcelek.org.
