CCBC Gets $100,000 Walmart Grant

The Community College of Beaver County is one of 15 community colleges across the country to receive a $100,000 grant from Walmart. CCBC was selected for the Walmart PRESS for Completion grant, sponsored by the Walmart Foundation and administered by Achieving the Dream, a national nonprofit for community colleges. In a press release, CCBC said it will use the grant to create the Faculty, Administrators, Staff and Trustees Academy to “integrate faculty and staff in improving student success.”
